Happy Independence Day! I spent the day with a marine. It's crazy but now I'm looking at sitting for the board exam. :\ Wish me luck!

how'd you wind up with a marine from new york in your neck of the woods? is this the reason for taking the boards ;-) i'm intrigued....

Yes yes he's the reason I'm doing all this crazy things. I'm not sitting for the board exam yet, but I'm looking into it, and the thought scares me. Since I'm a master of procrastination it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon! :p
The marines come to this God forsaken town every 2 yrs for military exercise, and they almost always create a big hooha. I wasn't a big fan of them until I met him. Sigh.

but i know that men from north america also have a weakness for accents, especially aussie ones! i have to admit, they are totally cute!

Haha not really. When I first met him he was in civilian clothes and the only way I could tell was his accent. He got himself a nice cruisy job in the office so he's not exactly the muscular/macho combat guy, he's not tall and he's not exactly cute either but there's something abt him that swept me off my feet still trying to figure out what but at least I know it's not lust! :p. Thanks for the info, now I know why he kept saying he loves the way I speak! :\
